Of course, if you rented a cabana, your locker is included. We rented an all day locker for $13 and it was easy and convenient. I recommend getting there early to secure a locker. There were other options and the funnel cakes looked amazing. We ate pizza for lunch, and although pricey, it was good. I think cabanas are great for guests with really young or elderly people in their group, or with sun sensitivities. If money is an issue, I recommend bringing your camp chairs and find a shady spot on the grass somewhere. I’m glad we rented it, but wish we could have secured a cabana. Our bungalow was located at Cowabunga and it was okay. We rented a 2-person bungalow and brought camp chairs for everyone else. We made do, but don’t anticipate buying supplies on site. Our spray on sun block lotion broke and stopped working and the gift shop didn’t sell any, which was very surprising. The crowd and long lines were absolutely my least favorite. We ended up only enjoying five attractions all day. It was very hot, extremely crowded, and long waits for attractions. I loved all the attractions and there is more than enough to do in a day.Ī family with teenagers, we visited in the middle of August. Wow! This place has grown a lot since I was a kid. Overall, great day and really cool slides!! Since we didn’t get a photo with walliver like was promised in the birthday package, we had wanted a walliver stuff animal but gift shop closed before park closed.

Some recommended upgrades could be to add a texture or mat to concrete walkways that would help prevent them from absorbing heat, or add more misters that spray on concrete - some rides require you to take off your shoes but the concrete is burning hot while waiting for the ride.Īdding pictures of how to sit in tube vs how not to sit in tube to lines would help lines move faster.Īdd a list of rides that offer tube valet on the map. The food quality is subpar for a water park but not the worst. Bathrooms and trash cans were really conveniently placed. The slides were really great - wonderful variety and creative. So just think of it as part of a general ticket price, lower your expectations for the perks it brings, and get it. With the tube valet, it makes the waits more like a normal water park. I highly recommend getting the tube valet because I doubt you’d get to ride many rides without it.
